Hi, I'm Zack Wiest, Founder and Co-CEO of PA Deals. I started investing in real estate in 2000, and have been hooked ever since! I was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA and still reside there with my wife and twin daughters. I've always been an entrepreneur, trying many different businesses, but it wasn't until I found real estate investing, that I was able to achieve what most would call, success. I have completed in excess of 900 residential real estate transactions since 2000 valued at more than $70,000,000. I've seen the good and bad of this business and have learned many lessons from the school of hard knocks. Nowadays, I spend most of time either acquiring quality, money-making properties in which to hold long-term, or, helping people accomplish the same. I love what I do and enjoy sharing it with others. Hopefully we can work together someday soon. Hello and welcome to PA Deals.com. My name is Tom Henschke, COO of PA Deals. While serving my country as a Sergeant in the PA Army National Guard, I graduated with honors from Penn State University with a Bachelors degree in Finance. I was a member of the National Honor Society as well as a participant in the University Scholars Program.
I currently live in Mechanicsburg with my wife and two daughters. Prior to joining PA Deals I was the President of one of the oldest business trade associations in the county and one of the most successful small business insurance agencies in the state. During my twenty-year professional career, I’ve been fortunate to work with many successful entrepreneurs, business leaders, a board of directors, and teams of committed professionals. These relationships provided me with the opportunity to submit written and oral testimony for various state governing bodies, conduct face to face meetings with United States Senators and appear from time to time on Presidential Guest Lists. I enjoy forging sustainable client and business relationships, mentoring fellow team members, and introducing new organizational structures to meet the needs of clients while positioning PA Deals for future growth.
Owning investment real estate has always been a dream of mine. In the early 2000s I started to acquire as much real estate knowledge as my brain could absorb: real estate books, seminars, etc. I even hired a Robert Kiyosaki coach (of Rich Dad Poor Dad fame). I had a lot of knowledge and ambition, but was still looking for the right deal to get me started. That was when I met Zack Wiest back in 2005. Since then we’ve done more than 20 deals together. A lot has changed since then, but I’m still a BIG BELIEVER in creating wealth through real estate and I’m still a HUGE BELIEVER in utilizing the PA Deals system to achieve your real estate investing goals. Hi and welcome to our site. My name is Gregg Norman, Partner and Co-CEO at PA Deals. I have spent a good portion of my working career as an operations manager running manufacturing facilities while secretly aspiring to become a real estate investor. I purchased my first real investment property in 2007 and have gone on to do or participate in over 350 Real Estate transactions in the last five years. I live in York County, PA with my wife and two sons. I got into Real Estate looking to "Flip" houses after getting hooked on all the Real Estate Flipping TV shows but nowadays my reason for flipping is really aimed at raising capital to continue to build upon my own "buy-and-hold" portfolio. While my longevity in Real Estate is limited, trust me when I tell you my experience is not. I like to couple my background in operations with the PA Deals system to help produce great projects and maximize profitability. I'm looking forward to working together, sharing my experiences and goals while helping you plan and execute yours.
RYAN COLQUHOUN, Acquisitions Director
Hello, and thank you for exploring our site. My name is Ryan Colquhoun, and I am the Acquisitions Director at PA Deals. Real estate was always something I had interest in, but I did not begin my career there. I first attended Penn State University, where I obtained a B.S. in Business Management. Following college I did a few different things. I worked as a Project Manager for an environmental remediation company. While with this company I managed more than 100 employees in a six state territory, and successfully completed projects totaling in excess of $10 million/year. All of this travel was not conducive to my family life, so I launched an internet designer clothing business, which in less than 12 months I grew to selling more than 200 pieces/month out of my house. In 2006, with the clothing business in full operation I was introduced to PA Deals and was soon working as part of the corporate team. Since, that time I have acquired more than 350 investment properties. I pride myself on my attention to detail and organization, which are key to long-term success in my opinion. I am proud of my achievement of being Weichert Realtors top agent in PA and #8 in the entire US for 2011. I am very fortunate to be able to work at PA Deals and have access to some of the best and brightest this industry has to offer. I am currently in law school at Widener University and plan on practicing real estate law while working exclusively with PA Deals. Upon graduating our goal is to provide our clients with access to not only my real estate experience, but my advanced law training giving our clients a unique perspective not found with many people. Hello, I'm Miriam and I have been in the real estate industry in one way or another, for the past 24 years. I was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA and still reside there. During the past 24 years I have worked as a mortgage processor [even owned my own company], worked as a loan officer and worked as a real estate agent. I am also a real estate investor. I have completed several successful real estate deals over the last 7 years and thoroughly enjoy taking run down houses and restoring them back to their original grandeur. I currently work in the settlement department and accounting department of PA Deals as well as assist with administrative duties. Hi, I'm Meb and I have worked alongside the founder of the company, Zack Wiest, since he began his real estate investing career in 2000. During the last 10 years I have held many titles, but my biggest successes have been with day to day clerical duties, customer service and property management. I was born in Asmara, Eritrea [East Africa] and my family came to the United Sates in 1985. I am the super proud mother of two girls and one boy. Hello, My name is Amber Cruz. I was born, raised and still reside in Harrisburg, PA. I am the proud mother of 3 children; Justina, Justin and Julisa. I started in real estate four years ago. Before working in real estate I was employed at a cellular phone company for six years as a customer service manager. I enjoyed working in the always changing and exciting cell phone industry but, unfortunately the hours of this position no longer worked out as my family grew. As I moved forward, I began working for a health insurance company as a customer service supervisor. RYAN YOUNG, Property Manager
Hello, I'm Ryan Young, and I am a native of Harrisburg, PA and a graduate of Susquehanna Township High School. I attended Arcadia University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish. While studying at the University of Barcelona I taught English at a community center and gained a higher understanding of Spanish culture. My professional experience in Human Resources and Employee Management of large warehouse operations developed my attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. I managed over 150 temporary employees who ranged from recent immigrants to long term dependable employees. As the onsite representative I was also in charge of employee training, performance reviews, translation and interpretation as well as investigating worker's compensation cases. These skills allow me to manage your tenants in a detailed and efficient manner without losing site of your goals.
My extensive knowledge of local neighborhoods provides information that you just can't find anywhere else. Hello, I'm Fayth Whiteman and I am in charge of keeping our clients financials in order. Essentially, my sole function at PA Deals is to keep track of all of our client's income and expenses and ensure that each and every one of our clients receives their monthly statement and net proceeds check by the 25th of each month. I am highly trained in financial reporting and accounting and use QuickBooks for all of our reporting. Hi, I'm Jeff Swanger and I have been with PA Deals before there even was a PA Deals. I have worked with the founder, Zack Wiest since 2004. I have worked and been part of over 500 real estate transactions and there is nothing I have not seen when it comes to repair and maintenance and even full blown construction. My goal is to keep all of our client's portfolios profitable by reducing their ongoing maintenance costs and repairing items correctly the first time.
