"My wife and I started working with PA Deals in March 2009. We were real estate investment novices that were inthe middle of one “flip” in Maryland near our home where we were doing a lot of the rehab work ourselves. I am a regional manager for a fortune 500 company, while my wife is a freelance interior designer. We thought that my financial background and her artful flair was a perfect fit for rehabbing and reselling properties. I had no idea how complicated, time consuming and expensive a foreclosure property would be to bring from purchase to actual profits. "I bought my first rental properties about 5 years ago, and after reaching 5 units, I stopped buying because I was paying cash and holding for long term rental. I simply ran out of investment funds.
